About The Silver Fox Catering
Ray Lopez - “The Silver Fox” – began his cooking journey at 8 years old, constantly at his mother’s side in the kitchen. Her unique take on typical Puerto Rican dishes, filled their home with irresistible aromas. Like many other working moms of the time, her availability was limited, and Ray had no patience for her arrival. This led to him taking the reins of the stove and working with all cuts of chicken and meats, herbs and spices to achieve the smells he so desperately craved. From this bold experimentation comes The Silver Fox Catering, named for Ray’s cunning culinary skill, and his wavy white beard. Ray’s food proves that we don’t start eating with our eyes – we start eating with our nose. Let Ray’s food make your next event’s catering something talked about long afterwards, not an afterthought.
